NEMO usecase

1) Internet Connection Sharing - traditional ad-hoc/mesh network with mobile phones

2) Push Information Service - distributing information to subscribed users with DTN techniques (many subscribers) - probabilistic forwarding techniques - integrating location and time aspects - received via stationary gateway nodes; distributed via forwarding users (offline/DTN)

3) Individual Broadcast - users can broadcast individual messages (e.g. “I'm looking for a lift/ride to …”) - offline capable (DTN) - other users can reply (also via DTN)

4) Decentralized and Localized Information Storage - users can generate information with local relevance (e.g. road damage, accident, obstacles at the road, touristic information, …); possibly generated automatically (in car related scenarios) - information is distributed via DTN and kept in relevant area (even if the forwarding nodes are mobile and leaving the area) - informing user about relevant information (e.g. show safety relevant information when approaching) - stationary nodes (gateways) can also be integrated (storing information, forwarding into internet) - does not require any infrastructure (if user density is sufficient)

5) Individual Data Exchange - exchanging user data (text messages, photos, …) between users via DTN (two users, closed groups) - integration of gateway nodes for internet up-/download
