1. Meeting 20210901: Charite testing

  • Testing 2nd September at Charite.
  • Evaluation:
    • Questionair
  • Charite makes standalone presentation. Can be used for DE consortium assembly.
  • Donal will merge them with his presentation.

2. Meeting July 19th

  • Follow up call with Charite for Trial results.
  • Experience from Spain shows the need for 5G
    • 5Mbps uplink for HQ pictures for Codec 300-1500.
    • Ideally 50Mbps

3. Charite 5G network

Recurring: Monday 7th June 3 p.m.

Redzinc, TUB, IIS.

  • smartphone requirement
    • works with test network (Amarisoft)
    • Snapdragon chip for video application: sony Xperia CD2
      • Redzinc give 2 weeks support for 5G version of their deployment
      • TUB network to be deployed 1. 2. weeks in July. Check with SP (3. woche July).
      • TUB has OAI gNB, which does not support commercial phone.
      • Emulate smartphone with PC, functioning as hotspot, 5G GW.

      4. Redzinc - Charite Deployment

  • Check connectivity at Charite: ideally 5 Mbps Wifi or 4G /5G.
  • Thursday 10/June testing at Charite before 11:30. Helene is ther from 7 a.m.
    • Thuy go there 10 a.m and test network.

4.1 5G test @ Charite

  • Samsung A90 5G
    • 5G: 75.6 Mbps Down, 13.5 Mbps UP
    • WiFi: 3.0 Mbps Down, 0.19 Mbps UP
